| Sarah Powers taught a group of nonmembers how to make a quilt for St. Jude's Hospital. The group included several co-workers and a few members of the Cobb Women's Club. One woman had never sewed, a few people had not used their machine in years, and none of them had quilted before. They had never seen a rotary cutter and mat before! The quilt was completed in time to enter the Quilt of Dreams contest. The group plans to complete more quilts for St. Jude’s during the coming year. |
